A new reign begins on the GW Amp site today. A new herald of the Site Manager title has been chosen and his name is Wyat_Hawke.
For those unaware, outstanding staffer/member Kanna recently stepped down as Site Manager for the site. In his departure, a new SM was sought to fill in the void. Kanna will be missed as staffer but I am pretty sure he isn't completely leaving the site. I would like to be one of the first to thank him for his time and effort he placed into the site on a daily basis. Also please give congratulations to Wyat in his new position for the site.
With Wyat taking over as SM, we are considering opening up to take on new staffers. Stay tuned for news on seeking out site assistance. If anyone has any questions feel free to contact Wyat or myself.
Stay tuned to Gameamp.com for more news on Guild Wars.

The 3SPN beta has been up for a about 2 months now and since I still occasionally see people visiting these forums I thought I'd post some news regarding it. Here's a little blurb about what's going on over there:
| QUOTE |
Welcome Gamers! 3SPN is excited to present you with the tip of the iceberg. The current site is only partially unveiled. There are around 5 major modules and dozens of new features that will be released in the near future, including tournaments, scrimmages, team management, player drafts and trades, and much more.
What makes 3SPN different than other gaming sites out there? Here are some examples:
It's simple to use. No screenshots to upload, no server haggling, etc.
- Join in organized competition with other gamers at your own skill level.
- Earn cash awards regardless of your skill level.
- Moderate your own forum threads to eliminate trolls
- Community cheat detection system flags suspect players
- Make gameplay more meaningful by earning XP for all site interactions
- Create your own blogs, polls, and channels.
- And much more...
|
Also they're giving away a thousand dollars a month to the most dedicated 3SPN player. Here's that announcement:
| QUOTE |
To make things a little more exciting around here, GINA is going to be tracking everyone's stats each month and selecting the most outstanding player. Each month the winner will receive a check for $1000.
How will she decide? Basically, she'll be looking at how your power rating (PR) and experience points (XP) change over the course of the month. The more you play and the more you win, the closer you get to the prize.
The Featured Player stats on the home page will display the gamer that GINA currently has determined to be the best and will be awarded the $1000...unless someone else takes the spot before the end of the month. |
So head over to http://3spn.net/ and check it out!

Unreal Tournament 2004
Unreal Tournament 2004 is a multiplayer first person shooter that combines the kill-or-be-killed experience of gladiatorial combat
with cutting-edge technology. Ten game modes - both team-based and "every man for himself" -- provide even the most hardcore gamer
with palm-sweating challenges through unbelievably detailed indoor arenas and vast outdoor environments. As the ultimate
techno-gladiator of the future, players will take their fates into their hands, battling against up to 32 other players online in
action-packed, frag-filled arenas.
GameAmp and Unreal Tournament 2004
GameAmp would like to say thank you to all of our staff who have made this site possible. Over the next few weeks we will be
adding additional sections of the site that will contain additional information, articles, cheats and tips for UT2004. We are currently working
on a solution that will allow for easier readability and navigation than is currently available on most sites. Since
this entire site is built upon a custom foundation of code we are able to add and deploy sections rapidly to bring you new content
as soon as it's available. For now, make sure you signup for an account so you can begin posting and contributing content to the
sites. If you think of anything you'd like to see then feel free to send a message to the site administrator. He is in direct
contact with the development team and, if he sees fit, can have custom areas developed for all you Unreal Tournament fans out there.
Thanks for visiting!
