Days for the event

Traditionally GameAmp events have taken place 2 consecutive nights around a weekend.

Thus, we were leaning toward having the 3v3 occur on either friday/saturday or saturday/sunday nights. However, we obviously want to set it whenever the most people can show. Some people have expressed concern about not being able to make weekends.

That's what this thread is for. Let us know what days of the week work best for your team. But keep in mind, the first night will take a decent amount of time. At minimum your team will need to play 4 maps that first night. 8-team double elimination takes 5 rounds to finish, and we'll be doing 3 the first night. That leaves the 2nd night for the loser's bracket finals and then the grand finals.

So you're looking at potentially 9 maps that your team will have to play that first night. This is why we usually have it on weekends: so people won't have too much trouble staying up until midnight or so (we always try to start around 8-9pm EST if possible). Just keep this in mind when deciding what days your team would be available.

Re: Days for the event

Fri/Sat is probably best, but being summer at least the younger guys could probably do it on weekdays.

Wed/Thurs is best for me and my team.

RE: Days for the event

Weekends work best... we have players in all US timezones, so we should be able to cover it.

Would really like to see this 3v3CTF ladder get going... and we're always up for a scrim... stop by and play with / against us
