The first part of the GGL Americups first season has completed, with a twist… Earlier in the season team LcD shocked everybody with a win over SBP, highlighted by a single frag victory on the tie-breaking map. As if one twist wasn’t enough DTS managed to pull a surprise victory over LcD further into the season. The result of all this is a three way tie, between SBP, LcD, and DTS for third place in their conference. However there are only four playoff slot’s per conference so somebody is not advancing.
The three teams will have a mini playoff round robin style tonight. The top two of them will advance and move on to the official playoffs. The map list for tonight is DM-Corrugation, DM-Goose2k4, DM-Antalus (in case of a tie).
UTV and media will be provided from IRC. The channels are as always #americup (official GGL channel), and #2k4tdm (community channel). So stop by, watch the games, and give your two cents.
