Last night, the fourth installment of my popular One Night Stand tournaments began, with 8 teams separated into 2 groups of 4 teams.
Each team had to play every other team in their group once, and after about 3 hours, these four teams made it into the bracket that will determine the winner later tonight:
- Megadeath
- Continuance
- Check Six
- Deify
The bottom half of the first round, where Continuance faced Megadeath, already happened last night and saw con, a favorite in this tournament, move past the much-improved M team in 2 relatively clean victories.
The rest of the bracket will happen tonight, along with continued shoutcast by TsN, starting at 8:30 Eastern time, when Check Six will battle Deify.
Of note was Megadeath's performance versus Check Six last night in group play, where each team won a map, resulting in an unexpected tie. Demos will be up as soon as I get them.
