Icefields is a terrain-based map set in the snow. Despite its sheer size, almost all the game play will take place in small, confined corridors. However, there are a couple of short cuts to save some time.
Critique:
First off- let’s get this straight- the map is horribly lopsided and favors red. The reason for this has to do with all the ledges you can jump from/to and some ball tricks. This is by no means a competitive map. However, it’s crazy fun on pubs. It’s so spammy on the ground that it becomes fun out of sheer hilarity. Plus, the fact that one player can bust out ninja style; run the whole map base to base, doing trick jumps from ledges is always a good laugh.
