One of the more unique maps visually, the wide-open Citadel plays like a rifle range at times, and takes intense teamwork to cap. It also allows a creative flag carrier to use some interesting tactics to confuse defenders. It's size means games can range from total blowouts to intense standoffs.
Critique:
Seeing 2 skilled teams go head to head on this map can be very entertaining. Some don't like it due to it's small bases/openness, but this map's superb balance and simplicity makes it a solid competitive map. Being the only ctf map in the first release of the UT2k3 demo, Citadel has become a mainstay of CTF.
