One of the most popular new CTF maps, this modified version of the DM map is perhaps better utilized for this gametype. When essentially mirrored around the lightning gun area (ok not so much mirrored as rotated), the openness of the map becomes less of an issue, since the inherent movement characteristic of CTF keeps things from being stagnant.
Critique:
A very well balanced map overall, albeit perhaps a bit defense-heavy due to amp being all the way back in the bases, this map could certainly prove worthy of heavy competitive use. There's a few different flag run variations, although not enough to easily confuse the defenders. It certainly takes good cover and teamwork to cap on this map, but the simplicity of this map really lends itself to intense battles in capture the flag.
Excellent CTF map, due largely to xloc negating the problem of wide open spaces that plague the TDM version. Plenty of pathways to the flag, but not enough to fool a good defense. The only DM-to-CTF conversion that has worked so far.
