I despise the first leg of this map. It's blatantly obvious that Epic didn't spend nearly enough time on the star fighters, as flying them sucks up all the fun out of Assault. Then again, some people love them. I think those people are on medication or insane. Maybe both. Anyhoo, after the first leg, the map does get better, but remains lackluster when compared to gems such as RobotFactory and Glacier. I tend to skip this map, and I know my opinion is shared by many.
I have been trying to unlock the single player by actally playing (not cheating my way through) the levels. I have CTF and DOM done, with BomRun half complete (saving for last), which leaves me with Mothership to battle out. With the other maps I only had to play twice at most, usually only once. I have attempted Mothership 5 times now and am getting pretty pissed.
The first leg of this map is BOGUS! You have NO REAL CHANCE to do ANYTHING! Fly die, Fly die, (rinse and repeat for 10 mins) until the program decides that you can now "land" with little chance of succeeding in the allotted time. Basically, your screwed.
I did manage however, on the fifth attempt, to access the landing pad by beating that leg, but then, the opposition is so intense, or my team bots sooooooo stupid that getting to the TWO points needed is going to be a real pain.
I hate cheating, and hate cheaters even more. But at some point, I may just have to give in on this one....
yeah, if u ply, u alomst can't block an atack, and can't hit some1 :|i have the same, i did 3 dayz for it >:|but im shure, u will get more problems at the end
