ONE LAST BANG
WHAT IS ONE LAST BANG?
ONE LAST BANG was a tournament brain stormed up by High Voltage ( aka Hv from h2o ) for a brief, fast TDM tournament. At the time saito, and concrete were debating throwing a tournament from Gameamp for the TDM community at the same time. Given the state of the community somebody joked that this event might would be the last bang for TDM and thus it was jokingly dubbed ONE LAST BANG. The event turned out to be a hit, actually finished (something rare in NA tournaments), and packed UTV even with people from Europe watching the best North American players left duke it out. Not for cash, not for prizes, but to play the game they love and prove who was the best remaining.
It turned out our joke of a name was on us. The success of the event garnered a fair amount of attention, and it turned out that several people wanted to play in events in the style we were running. This has lead ONE LAST BANG to be a truly ironic name, but we kept it as a joke, and it continues.
