Vehicle: Goliath
Vehicle Offense: The Unreal universe's Tank equivalent, the Goliath features a rather imposing cannon that fires highly damaging shells, balanced by a slow rate of fire. A minigun turret can also be operated by another player, dealing massive amounts of damage to infantry but slightly weaker agaisnt other vehicles.
Hit Points: 800
Vehicle Description:
This hulking vehicle is slow-moving, slow-turning, slow-firing but ironically, fast-dying (it's not a word, I know). Due to it's massive damage dealing abilities, players often focus on taking out the Tank, rendering it's usefulness very limited to specific situations.
Mostly, attacking with the Tank proves futile. It's too slow and too easy to take out. A good manta pilot could deal as much damage, if not more, while not sacrificing speed and versatility.
Ultimately, the Tank winds up being used more as defense than anything else, as well as final desperate assaults.

Vehicle: Hellbender
Vehicle Offense: Unless fully loaded or strategically positioned, the Hellbender's damage output is very limited. The imitation Shock Rifle deals alot of damage to infantry and nodes, but is very limited agaisnt vehicles. The Charge-up Laser is, however, weaker agaisnt nodes, yet more powerful agaisnt vehicles.
Hit Points: 600
Vehicle Description:
As was mentionned above, the Hellbender can seat up to 3 players, and most of the time, should make full use of that fact. An empty hellbender is a wasted hellbender.
Typically, most teams will use the Hellbender off the opening spawn, up until the better vehicles (manta, raptor) become more widely available. Some teams also determine strategic positions where placing a stationary hellbender with a manned Laser Turret can deal damage rapidly and help defend a node. Think of Torlan, for example.
Hellbenders arn't the most versatile vehicle and generally fall into disuse as soon as better options appear. Teams will use it as a last resort very often, but in reality, Hellbenders never swing the tide.

Vehicle: Ion Tank
Vehicle Offense: Leviathan-like Ion explosion creating much chaos and hilarity, rapid-fire. minigun turret can also be operated by another player, dealing massive amounts of damage to infantry but slightly weaker agaisnt other vehicles.
Hit Points: 2000
Vehicle Description:
While it is only featured in AS-Glacier, the Ion Tank is quite probably the most fun I've had in a vehicle, ever.
The amount of frags you'll generate, especially if you know where to shoot, is simply insane.
If you're up for a good laugh, I'd really recommend getting in this thing and blowing anything and everything up.

Vehicle: Leviathan
Vehicle Offense: Very powerful homing laser balls, 4 beefed up link turrets and a stupidly strong Ion explosion when deployed.
Hit Points: 5000
Vehicle Description:
Yep, 5000. Ridiculous damage. So why is the Leviathan so... useless? Simple. It can't move, at all. It barely rolls on it's multiple wheels and a single good manta pilot can take on a fully powered Leviathan and win.
Most teams, realising the Leviathan's weakness, load up one person and get him to either attack a node as a sort of suicide run, or simply defend one to allow the other players time to bring down the core, or any other objective.
Leviathans are very limited and wind up low on the priority list. It's much better to deal small amounts of damage very rapidly than one huge blast of damage in a ridiculously slow vehicle that is incredibly vulnerable to anything and everything, even infantry.

Vehicle: Manta
Vehicle Offense: The manta uses a weaker version of the Twin Lasers on the Raptor. These are somewhat easy to aim, but ground targets sometimes prove difficult. Mantas are also very apt at running people over.
Hit Points: 200
Vehicle Description:
The most useful vehicle in Onslaught, Mantas are offer fast transportation for up to 4 players (driver, one on each wing, one on the 'hood'), accuracy as well as massive squishing.
Highly versatile, Mantas are a central point of any Onslaught Strategy. Teams would bode well to quickly master this seemingly simple vehicle. It's greatest weaknest, however, is AVRiL toting infantry. A single rocket decimates both the Manta and it's driver, so learn to avoid these.

Vehicle: Raptor
Vehicle Offense: Powered up Twin Lasers that deal relatively high damage, as well as a missile that locks on (although not fully) to enemy mantas and raptors.
Hit Points: 300
Vehicle Description:
The second most useful vehicle in Onslaught, perhaps the most, even, since it allows players to get to hard to reach places very rapidly, the Raptor is widely used and is the only vehicle capable of flight.
It's lasers are strong, precise and have a fast rate of fire. Able to quickly take down anything, be it a node, an enemy ground player or a tank. They might have trouble, however, versus mantas and especially other raptors. The missiles, in theory, lock on to raptors and bring them down. However, in practice, the missiles "lose track" and fade into oblivion. A typical Raptor-Raptor fight could last forever, with no missiles hitting through simple dodging techniques.
Even in light of this most obvious weakness, raptors still provide quality support, rapid transportation for one player who can, if assigned, grab any and all superweapons on the map. Raptors are, just like mantas, very vulnerable to AVRiLs and Shock Rifles, which push them back with every shot.

Vehicle: Scorpion
Vehicle Offense: A weird charge-up lasso-type thing that can destroy nodes very rapidly and devastate vehicles if aimed well. Also features twin blades that stretch out from the sides and kill infantry.
Hit Points: 250
Vehicle Description:
The only useless vehicle in Onslaught, most Scorpions are left at their respective nodes, unused and wasted. They lack the speed and precision of mantas, making hit-and-runs very difficult, even with the twin blades. Their speed, while good, is nothing next to mantas and raptors. Their attack is very, very weak and takes some time to kill, and that's only if you manage to touch something.
It does have a saving grace, however. The lasso weapon, if charged, will take out a manta in one shot. When up agaisnt a node, spamming countless ammounts of those rings will bring said node down ridiculously fast.
Even so, the scorpion has no true advantage to make it worthwhile. Everything it does something else can do better, without being limited by the scorpions other weaknesses. Typically only used for semi-fast transportation then left to rot.
